We all know that kids love to play, so instead of just snow to entertain them, there will be a whole host of traditional games for them to enjoy too. When they’re tired of slipping and sliding around in the cold, there will be plenty to catch their attention, so that you can carry on skiing.

Games will include Power 4, giant Mikado, giant chess, Frog or Molki, there will be something to suit everyone’s taste and something available for all age groups.

Forget electronic and video games, La Rosière is going old school when games consisted of simply pieces of wood, balls and boards.

This could be the perfect chance to teach your kids how to play chess. Play as a family moving the giant pieces around the board, set against a backdrop of stunning snowy peaks. Or how about a round of snow golf to keep everyone entertained? Kids will have a great time learning new pastimes and making new friends, while they’re at it.

Remember to organise your ski equipment rental beforehand, so that you can make the most of your time on the pistes before enjoying the games.
