The Courchevel resort is a must for any ski lover! The resort, located in the Tarentaise valley, is divided into five villages: Saint-Bon Tarentaise, Courchevel Le Praz (1300), Courchevel Village (1550), Courchevel Moriond (1650) and Courchevel (1850). All these villages have their own identity, and together they make up one of the most iconic resorts in France and worldwide.
The entire resort has 96 pistes, offering a total of 150 kilometres of skiing. It also gives you the chance to enjoy the Trois-Vallées, the largest ski area in the world with its 600 kilometres of pistes. With such an offer, the resort caters to all levels and allows everyone to find their own level, progress, and improve.
If you want to diversify your activities, Courchevel also offers access to 66 kilometres of cross-country ski trails as well as a snow park with a boardercross, sliders, kickers and two big airbags. The airbags are perfect for beginners but are also great for more experienced skiers who want to get in some nice tricks. The snow park is divided into several areas, one of which is accessible to children. The resort participated in the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics and has an impressive ice rink as a result.
Although it has a reputation for being exclusive and expensive, Courchevel is actually quite reasonably priced, and being composed of five villages, there is something to suit every wallet and every taste. The resort's capacity makes it possible to plan lots of trips with family or friends quite easily.
Beyond snow sports, Courchevel offers a wide range of activities in the village-resort with a host of restaurants, discos, a bowling alley and an art gallery. Dating from the end of the 1940s, the resort's architecture is a cultural heritage in its own right, classified as a historical monument. During the months of February or March, the resort regularly organises an international fireworks festival. Seeing the fireworks reflected in the immaculate snow is a unique and magical sight.
All these activities will give your stay a really special feel, creating fond memories on the pistes as well as in the heart of the charming resort. Multi-faceted, affordable and spacious, Courchevel is a dream resort and thanks to Snowrental, it can make your dreams come true!
