Les Deux Alpes - Check out three resorts to ski in the spring sunshine!

This year, the conditions are exceptional for spring skiing. Gone are the days of the triple layer combo of jumper, ski suit, neck warmer and beanie, and at the end of March the big t-shirt ski season begins! Here are three resorts where you can rent skis to enjoy sunny and snowy slopes.

Les Deux Alpes

Tucked away in a corner of the Oisans, Les Deux Alpes is a great adventure playground for any skier. Set between 1,300 and 3,600 metres above sea level, the resort is an ideal place to enjoy skiing until the end of the season. Spring skiing is a soft ski, on snow that is certainly less packed but more supple, offering maximum skiing pleasure and often under a radiant sun. Both beginners and freestylers will find what they are looking for on the slopes of Les Deux Alpes.

Tignes is an electric resort, driven by the energy of its inhabitants, where conviviality and sport run through its veins. Tignes is perfect for both thrill-seekers and those who prefer to relax and unwind. Perched at over 2000 metres, the resort's slopes are open from October to May, allowing everyone to come when the resort is quieter to enjoy relaxed skiing on beautiful sunny slopes.

La Plagne

In the Tarantaise valley lies La Plagne, an ideal resort to come with family and friends in the spring sunshine. The resort closes at the end of April and offers exceptional snow quality until then, with its 225 kilometres of pistes located above 2000 metres. The resort is ideal to come and enjoy the last of the skiing before the end of the season.

Premières Traces, a unique experience

When the day’s skiing is finished, the people behind the scenes of the ski area are just getting started. Before that however, the ski patrol checks every piste to make sure that they are as safe as they can be.
