In the canton of Vaud, in the middle of the Vaud Alps, come and discover the small resort of Leysin.
Set between 1263 and 2200 m altitude, its ski area offers a total 100 km of ski slopes, including 13 km of green runs, 49 km of blue runs, 25 km of red runs and 13 km of black runs. 27 ski lifts, located on the south-facing side, serve the resort. Natural snow cover and sunshine are guaranteed. Experienced skiers can take advantage of the partnership with the Les Mosses-La Lécherette ski area, offering over 100 km of fun. A snow park and half-pipe, as well as a ski-cross have been set up by the resort. They have become a must-have for all freestyle fans and professionals. Children under the age of 9 have free access to the whole Leysin-Les Mosses-La Lécherette ski area.
Fans of Nordic skiing are not forgotten. Spanning the whole area, 42 km of cross-country skiing trails for classic or skate skiing are available for beginner and experienced cross-country skiers alike. Some trails are even lit at night, for stretches of 850 m. The Nordic skiing Information Centre will provide you with all the information.
If you don't ski, the resort has a Tobogganing Park just for you. It's a park made up of snow slides with raised sides that you go down sitting in a rubber ring: fun and laughter guaranteed!
