In the Tarentaise valley, in Savoie, come and discover the ski resort of Plagne Bellecote, located at an altitude of 1930 m. Created in 1974, it was originally set to be named Les Ours but it was finally called Plagne Bellecôte, in reference to the culminating point of the La Plagne area (3450 m).
The ski area comprises the resorts of Aime 2000 La Plagne, La Plagne Centre, Plagne Bellecôte, Belle Plagne, Plagne 1800 and Plagne Village/Plagne Soleil. It offers access to 130 slopes divided into 10 green runs, 69 blue runs, 33 red runs and 18 black runs. The ski resort of La Plagne is also connected to Les Arcs and the Paradiski ski area. People who have the right package will be able to go skiing (or surfing) on 425 kilometres with 242 ski slopes. The resort is designed for doing handiski with a suitable welcome and well-trained and competent professionals. Freestylers will have the chance to try different areas such as the big airbag, the freestyle park, the boardercross course and the snow park. The resort maintains a 16 km network of freely accessible slopes. Cross-country skiers will therefore have something to amuse themselves.
After skiing it's time to relax. The resort offers a multitude of activities such as bowling, indoor climbing, the giant Tyrolean and night-life. You can also have a go at new board sports as the bob-sleigh, the snake gliss or the snow racer.
