In the Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region, in the confines of the Guil valley, come and discover the ski resort of Risoul.
It ski area, located at an altitude of between 1850 and 2750 m has 109 slopes, divided into 20 green runs, 42 blue runs, 37 red runs and 10 black runs, representing 180 km of slopes as well as lots of off-piste routes. There is even a flying kilometre area just for fun. Novices who want to learn how to ski can use a fun area accessible by a bucket lift. Freestylers have not been forgotten as Risoul is France's great innovative resort. Each year, it maintains its infrastructure such as the fun zone, the springboards, the big air, the gaps and other slide bars. Risoul also takes care of the children. Young children can discover the mountain environment while those who are a bit bigger try skiing. With just 3 Nordic skiing style skating slopes, Les 2 Alpes is not a great Nordic site. But amateurs will be happy with the 25 km of slopes.
After an active day, it's time to relax. There are plenty of après-ski activities. Try conventional activities such as paragliding, or the ice rink. But the most original include mountain biking on snow and the snake-gliss which allow you to go down the slopes at any speed while avoiding falls, and paintball. 2 slopes are reserved for the tobogganing. At night, one is even lit up with projectors. Families are welcome. A whole programme.
