The Tignes resort and its ski area, Espace Killy, have been gradually re-opening since the end of October, having been closed for a period of 18 months. The resort is determined to enjoy a season of celebration, beginning with Christmas and New Year.
After several months of closure, La Plagne will finally reopen its lifts on 11th December 2021. There will be a weekend of festivities to mark this occasion but also to celebrate the 60th anniversary of La Plagne.
The Morzine ski area will open its lifts from Saturday 18 December 2021, the same day as the installation of the "enchanted village", which will animate the station for two weeks.
After 18 months of closure, Les Deux Alpes is finally getting ready to reopen its slopes and lifts. On Saturday 27th November, the first lucky skiers will be able to slip on their skis and feel the crackling snow underfoot.
The opening of the slopes bring back events in the Arcs resort, like the Arcs Film Festival or The Electronic Peak.
Courchevel will open its slopes on December 4th, 2021, and will remain open until April 22nd, 2022. Two big event will take place in the resort this years : The Alpine ski worldcup and the international fireworks festival.
From 9th to 11th December, Val Thorens will be hosting the ski cross world cup, a discipline that is both spectacular and thrilling.
