Schwaz is a town located about 20 km from Innsbruck. It is situated at 545 meters on the slopes of the Kellerjoch, an imposing peak in the Tux Alps.

The Schwaz ski area offers a huge variety of activities. For cross-country skiing, there is a 7 km trail from Schwaz to the village of Buch along the river Inn. Do you already have a lot of experience in cross-country skiing or skating? The Vomperberg Plateau with its 8 km of trails is a great way to get out and about in the countryside. A 9.2 km long course (the longest in North Tyrol) leads young and old from the Hecherhaus area to Freundsberg Castle.
