Ski hire Söll

Close to the German border, Söll is a pretty Alpine village and a popular ski resort. One of the nine villages which make up the Ski Welt area, from Söll you have access to the biggest ski area in Austria. The SkiWelt area has 279km of slopes for all ability levels and snow sport specialisms. The ski area is perfect for families and mixed-ability groups as there are great ski schools, nursery slopes close to the village, and learners slopes at the top of the mountain. Intermediate level skiers and snowboarders have a huge choice of trails, and for the more advanced there are mogul runs and plenty of off-piste opportunities.Along with the marked ski slopes there are 170km of cross-country ski trails, 19.5km of floodlit night skiing and tobogganing runs, and over 300km of prepared paths so you can explore this winter wonderland on foot. For snowboarders and freeskiers there are four fantastic snowparks across the ski area with all the boxes, rails, and jumps you could want - and the Wintergarten Snowpark is SkiWelt's first night snowpark.Throughout the ski area you'll find loads of mountain restaurants and traditional huttes where you can get a warming drink or a bite to eat during your time on the snow. Back in Söll you'll have even more choice of eateries, the village has over 50 restaurants! Söll also caters for your every accommodation need, with hotels, apartments, and chalets for all budgets. And there are plenty of activities off the slopes to choose from, including swimming pools, spa facilities, horse-drawn sleigh rides, squash courts, and bowling - to name just a few. When dusk starts to fall the village comes alive for the après ski crowd - you'll find a very varied après ski scene in Söll, but all the restaurants and bars in the village have the same welcoming atmosphere. The easiest way to get to Söll from the UK is to fly to either Innsbruck or Salzburg. Both are serviced by low-cost airlines and both are only around two hours' from the village - perfect for short breaks or longer holidays!
