The Val di Fassa in the Dolomites region is a large valley renowned for its beauty and abundant snow in winter. Soraga di Fassa is located in this area, not far from the resort of Sèn Jan di Fassa (also called San Giovanni di Fassa) and its ski area Val di Fassa-Carezza.

With its 110 kilometres of pistes, the ski area of Val di Fassa-Carezza promises sensational skiing or snowboarding experiences. The difference in altitude is considerable, ranging from 1,200 to 2,625 metres, and 39 ski lifts provide access to a significant number of pistes throughout the area.

At an altitude of 1,210 metres, Soraga di Fassa enjoys an ideal position in the valley. Situated four kilometres from Sèn Jan and 15 kilometres from Carezza, the village has access to a number of pistes as well as two snow parks and activities, including cross-country skiing, sledging and some amazing snowshoeing. From Sèn Jan, the 1.6 km-long Aloch piste is lit on Wednesday and Friday evenings until 22:00. It's a great way to extend the pleasure under the stars.

The Sèn Jan and Carezza resorts allow parents to take some time for themselves with supervised activities for children such as kids parks and introductory skiing. In addition to skiing, other affordable activities such as bowling, skating, hang-gliding and ice hockey are on offer.

Soraga is only three short kilometres from Moena, nicknamed "the fairy of the Dolomites" because of its picturesque appearance. This small town has its own culinary speciality, the Puzzone di Moena, a very famous cheese from the mountain pastures. For those who like to party, there are a few late-night dance bars in Soraga, but the real clubs are a little further up the valley, in Canazei and Campitello.
