Go on a voyage of discovery to the small ski resort of Valtournenche in the Aosta Valley.
Set between 1524 and 2982 m altitude, its ski area offers 36 km of slopes, including 5 km of blue runs and 31 km of red runs. For freestyle buffs the Buffalo Snowpark in the Wild West Zone is a must visit. Its route has a whole host of different modules.
The resort hasn't neglected cross-country skiers. Skiers with a ski pass lasting longer than 5 days have free access to the three trails for a total of 10 km. Children will also be delighted as the resort has just built a Far West themed Ski Park. It has three magic carpets, an arena where they can learn the basics of skiing and inflatables.
A variety of activities is also available, such as a game of indoor tennis or a dip in the pool. When the weather is bad, you can take refuge in the cinema screens or have a bowling match. In the evening, the club opens it doors to hosts of visitors who fill the dance floor.
