Winterberg is located a few kilometres from Dortmund in North Rhine-Westphalia. This beautiful German resort promises a wonderful, unforgettable and accessible holiday.
The ski area of Winterberg with its 20 kilometres of pistes guarantees great descents among the fir trees. There are 38 of these pistes, blue, red and black, which offer skiers of all levels the opportunity to enjoy themselves. Ideal for beginners, these wide pistes are steep enough to allow you to perfect your skills without hurting yourself. More experienced skiers can have fun on the black pistes, including the steepest in Germany, the "Slalomhang".
With 26 lifts, the resort doesn't leave you wasting time queuing, and lifts serve every ski area.
Nearly 14 pistes are lit on Friday and Saturday nights until 20:00. It's worth noting that the restaurants and bars adjacent to these pistes stay open to allow adventurous skiers to refresh themselves and have something to eat.
The resort also has a well-equipped snowpark for beginner freestylers and those who have nothing left to prove. It features an easy line, bumpers, kickers, flat-boxes, and even a pro-line that offers 12 metres of rail.
Two toboggan runs with dedicated lifts are available for all ages.

It won't be an easy choice, as the resort has nearly 45 huts and a myriad of restaurants, all of which are affordable.
