Located at an altitude of 1,670m at the foot of the Weisshorn, Zinal nestles into the majestic landscape offered by the summits that tower over 4,000m: the Weisshorn, Zinalrothorn, Obergabelhorn and Dent Blanche.

It's located between 1,670m and 2,895m in elevation, with 70kilomètres of pistes featuring grandiose high-mountain vistas. An enthralling adventure beckons to holidaymakers at the culmination of a two-hour hike: a stroll inside the Zinal glacier, located above the village.
The freeride space of "Gardes de Bordon" makes Zinal a highly prized pilot resort for off-piste skiing. The Avalanche Centre offers lifesaving training and allows you to test out your transmitters and receivers. A 19kilomètres-long piste awaits cross-country skiers. The five ski areas in the Val d'Anniviers – Zinal, Grimentz, St-Luc, Chandolin and Vercorin – offer a package deal for 200kilomètres of pistes.
In 1998 it obtained the \"Families Welcome\" seal of quality, awarded and renewed by the Swiss Tourism Federation.
